Art Basel Miami begins December 2, and with it throngs of art lovers will descend upon Miami Beach.
Street Art, with its growing international popularity, is expected once again to be the hot ticket. Favorites like Shepard Fairey, Os Gemeos, and Ron English are sure to draw crowds as is a certain New York Street Artist many consider to be a “Nobody.”
New York Street Artist TMNK aka NOBODY, with his self depreciating moniker and a style reminiscent of Basquiat, has been increasingly winning the praise and attention of collectors and curators around the world. The crowded ,formidable and often impenetrable International art world has been anything but for this artist, whose recent solo exhibition at Galerie Galleberg in Norway all but sold out on opening. His exhibition at Art Basel 2010 is entitled, “Hello, My name is NOBODY GIVES A F#%K!” is being presented by O-Cinema. Located directly across the street from the renown Rubell Family Collection, this artist has picked the perfect venue to offer his unique brand of visual paradoxes both inside and out.
There is too much great art at Art Basel to see it all, but it seems there is one artist that “Nobody Gives a F#%K! about, and you probably shouldn’t miss. New York Street Artist TMNK aka Nobody, will have opening receptions for his exhibition December 2 and December 4th, 6pm – 10pm, 90 NW 29th Street, in the Wynwood Arts District of Miami.
